Heart favor

I'm experimenting with heart favor pockets in anticipation of Valentine's Day. Here's my first, a free design from PCB. The ribbon at the top is hand sewn. I used DMC 107, the old-style variegated thread.



For the new year, I received an ornament from Kerry for the Stitchin' Fingers exchange. This little guy took his time traveling from Canada, but he has arrived just in time since we are anticipating our first 'winter mix' weather event this week.

    Aaah Annie, that is sooo cute! I am so glad this swap worked out well for you, even if it was late. Mine was also late and also from Canada. Well, at least I can see that the Canadian post office doesn't only go slow to Australia!

    i think he traveld so long because everybody wanted to hold him and hug him.

    Great idea for Valentine, and you always seem to fond the perfect way to use the eyelets.

    Kerry did a wonderful job with the snowman, just too cute!

    I'm also waiting something from Canada and set something (two packages) I expect my friends will get soon. My fingers are crossed that the strike ends up soon.

    Your heart is so pretty! Kerry's snowman is just too sweet. I love the soft colors. Kerry does beautiful work.
