Spent my crafting time this weekend working on a celebrity doll for the Show Business doll swap I'm hosting on Stitchin' Fingers. It's coming along nicely, but once again, it is mentally exhausting. So to get a better feeling of accomplishment, I did the finishing on this little design from Prairie Schooler. It's meant to be a luggage tag and you can insert an ID card. For this one, I backed it in the same fabric as I used for the top border. The inside is about 1/2 lined, more of a facing than a lining.
It puts me in mind of these adorable Tooth Fairy Pouches on Marie's blog. With a little adaptation, these luggage tags could serve as tooth fairy pouches too, I think.

It's adorable! Wonderful finishing too :)
That's so cute!
You must have made tiny stitches.
I made the stitching fairy riding on a bird. It's on linen 28ct (I think). That would make a huge luggage tag ;-)
Yours look so much better!
Nice finishing.
Kirsten, mine is on 18 count Zweigart platinum aida. I've done a couple of other fairies also that I made into tags, but I won't show them til their recipients get them. I'm planning to do the one on the bird also.
That is just adorable Annie!!!! I agree, it could be both :o) Nice job finishing.
Oh, Annie, how adorable! Your little fairy is so sweet! Great finishing!

Sandra, thanks for the link. The little mice are just the cutest!
Hi Annie,
Thanks for your comment on my cupcakes, glad you liked them.
I LOVE your luggage tag, I do wish that I had the staying power to finish some of my x stitch projects especially if they looked as good as yours. I love the voluptuous mermaid, I remember that pattern, she would make a great dotee.
