Signs of Winter

Seems like every blogger is showing photos of early snowfalls this year. It's cold here, but we haven't seen the first flakes quite yet. So this altoid tin top I stitched will serve to keep us on the lookout. This a Bent Creek design, one of the four for each of the seasons. Not sure if I love it in the over-one stitching on the tea-dyed Monaco or not. But I know I like the crocheted penguin inside. This one is just tailor made to be another winter survival kit with some Burt's Bees goodies added to fight the winter dryness.

Cute finish!

I really wish I could just pack up the snow outside and ship it to you! (But knowing Canada Post it'd probably get there in August!)

Adorable tin finish! I think it's fabulous over-1 and love the penguin inside :) And that is a really terrific idea of using it as a winter survival kit with BBee's goodies (I may have to copy that idea if you don't mind!)

The inside and outside are a perfect compliment to each other. It's only been the penguins in the zoos here that have really enjoyed this weather

Love what you've done with that little tin! You're not thinking of us Down Under when you state that every blogger is writing about snowfalls...our summer has started, but it's not about sunshine, it's rain, rain and more rain!
